The online catalog is secured by the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. The next time you register for an event, wait for the registration form to display then look at the address of the page.
You will see that it uses HTTPS (HTTP Secure) instead of regular HTTP. Most browsers also display a little locked padlock icon in the lower left corner to also indicate a secured page. Rest assured that your personal information is securely encrypted before being sent back and forth over the Internet.
